Christmas is one of the most important events of the year. We want to help make this holiday season the most successful time your church has ever experienced. To make this a reality, we have developed numerous resources for you. Each is free. We invite you to tell as many of your associates or friends about this as you desire. Each resource comes from The Purpose of Christmas, by Rick Warren, which focuses on the three purposes of Christmas: Celebration, Salvation and Reconciliation.

We have one bulletin insert for each sermon from the Three-Sermon Purpose of Christmas Series. All three have the main points on the back, which will help those attending the service to have an outline and a convenient place to take notes.

The Poster is a great way to let everybody know that you will be preaching from the Three-Sermon Purpose of Christmas Series this year. Because each message has a strong evangelistic appeal, you'll want to let all of your members know that this series is particularly seeker friendly.

Christmas is a wonderful time to send everybody in your email address book an inspiring thought. That's why we've included two prayers from The Purpose of Christmas. Each is uplifting and points the reader to the Lord. Once you download the folder, you can open it and attach either prayer to an email and send to a friend or a member of your church.

Rick Warren wrote and delivered the sermon, "The Purpose of Christmas," which became the foundation for the book, The Purpose of Christmas. In this powerful and insightful sermon, Rick explains the three purposes of Christmas—Celebration, Salvation, and Reconciliation—which are revealed in the Scriptures. Feel free to use this sermon and to forward it to as many of your pastoral associates as you please.

To help make this Christmas everything it should be, Howard Books has developed three powerful sermons, each pointing your members and guests to Christ—the reason for the season. Rick Warren did not develop these sermons, although each is based on the three purposes of Christmas—Celebration, Salvation, and Reconciliation.

There are three Sundays before Christmas, which means you can use all three.

Christmas season is the busiest time of the year for pastors.

Knowing that the Christmas season is the busiest time of the year, this website has everything you need to help focus your church members on Christ—the real reason for the season.
